A bespoke groom suit can't be rushed. Choosing the cloth, cutting the pattern and fitting take several weeks, and the wedding date is fixed. This is our Palma workshop's guide to when to start, how many fittings there are and what to decide at each step.
When to start
Ideally, visit the atelier about three months before the wedding. A bespoke suit takes four to six weeks to make, and three months leaves time to choose without rushing, fit calmly and have the suit ready in good time. If the wedding is sooner, write to us: there is almost always a way.
The process, week by week
- Week 0, the visit. We talk about the wedding, the time and the venue, and choose the garment, cloth and details.
- Week 1, the pattern. We take your measurements and cut your pattern, which stays on file in your name.
- Week 3, the fitting. We adjust drape, shoulder and length on you.
- Weeks 4 to 6, delivery. We let you know when the suit is ready.
What to decide at the first visit
The garment. It depends on the time of day and the formality: a morning suit for daytime weddings, a tuxedo for the evening, a suit for a civil or finca wedding. We explain it in Morning suit, tuxedo or suit: which to choose for your wedding.
The cloth. In Mallorca, the season decides: light wools in spring, linen and cool wools in high summer, cloth with a little more body in autumn. We work with Loro Piana, Zegna, Holland & Sherry, Dormeuil and Scabal, among others.
The details. Lapels, buttons, lining, pockets. They are what make the suit yours and no one else's.
What to bring to the fitting
The shoes you will wear on the day and, if you have it, the shirt. With them we set the length of the trousers and sleeves precisely.

Many of our grooms marry on the island but live elsewhere. Write to us and we plan the fittings around your trips to Mallorca, so the suit is ready when you arrive.
Best men and fathers

How much it costs
A bespoke suit starts at €2,000 and a tuxedo at €2,200. These are making prices; the final price depends on the cloth you choose. They are all on our prices page.
