TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF RENTAL SERVICE — JOHN BLOND
- RESERVATION AND PAYMENT
The reservation is confirmed only with the full payment of the rental amount. Without payment, there is no guaranteed reservation. John Blond does not reserve garments pending payment.
The security deposit is paid at the time of collection of the already fitted garment, not at the time of reservation. The deposit is equivalent to the rental amount and is fully refunded once it has been verified that the garment has been returned in good condition and within the agreed period.
- RENTAL SERVICE
John Blond makes the garments indicated in the order available to the client, subject to availability in the requested size.
- Adjustments: Rental garments are standard stock garments. The trousers are adjusted in length for each customer. No other permanent alterations are made.
- Substitutions: We reserve the right to substitute with the closest available size to ensure the best possible fit.
- MANDATORY FITTING
The client must come to the atelier at least 72 hours before the event for the fitting and adjustment. Without a prior fitting within the established period, the garment's adjustment cannot be guaranteed. John Blond is not responsible for incidents related to sizing when the fitting has not been carried out within this period.
- HOME DELIVERY SERVICE
We offer home delivery and collection service for a cost of 80 euros (round trip). Delivery is coordinated directly with the atelier. The client is responsible for being available at the agreed address within the agreed time slot.
- RENTAL PERIOD AND RETURN
The maximum rental period is 7 calendar days from collection or delivery. Delays in return will be charged at a rate of 15 euros per day starting from the eighth day. After an additional 5 days without return, the full replacement cost of the garment will be charged.
- CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Since the trouser adjustment is made at the time of reservation confirmation, the rental amount covers the service already provided:
- Cancellation more than 30 days before the event: The rental amount is refunded, deducting management fees and adjustments already made.
- Cancellation 30 days or less before the event: The full rental amount is retained by John Blond. This applies regardless of the reason for cancellation, including but not limited to: flight cancellation, illness, change of plans, or other circumstances beyond John Blond's control.
- The security deposit is refunded in all cases if the garment is not delivered to the client.
- DAMAGES AND LOSSES
- Any damage that prevents re-renting the garment will be deducted from the deposit or charged to the client, according to the atelier's assessment.
- In case of loss or irreparable damage, the client will be charged the full replacement cost of the garment.
- Damages due to improper use or stains of unknown origin are not covered by the deposit.
- LIABILITY
John Blond is not responsible for transportation costs, travel expenses, or any other indirect costs arising from the rental or fitting process, except for the expressly contracted delivery service.
- VAT AND INVOICING
All prices include the current Spanish VAT (21%). If you require a formal invoice, please indicate this at the time of payment and provide your ID/NIE or CIF.
