If you are getting married in Mallorca, or going to a black-tie wedding as a best man or guest, the question comes up early: how much does it cost to hire a tuxedo or a morning suit? Here are our atelier's prices in Palma, what they include and the costs worth knowing before you book.
Hire prices
- Tuxedo: €240
- Morning suit: €240
- Classic black suit: €149
These are fixed prices for the full suit. You can see all our prices, including bespoke tailoring, on our prices page.
What's included
- A fitting at our atelier on Calle Bonaire 20, in central Palma.
- The length adjustment, done in our own workshop.
- Cleaning, which is on us.
- Up to 7 days with the suit from the day you collect it.
What's not included
The shirt and bow tie are not hired: they are bought new and are yours to keep. The bow tie and cummerbund set is €120. Ties, cufflinks and shoes can be chosen at the same fitting.
The deposit
When you collect the suit you leave a deposit of the same amount as the hire. We return it in full when you bring the suit back in good condition.
Other costs worth knowing
- Extra days: from the eighth day, €15 per day.
- Urgent alteration: if you book less than 72 hours ahead and the length needs adjusting, it costs €50.
- Cancellation: more than 30 days ahead, the hire is refunded less the adjustment costs; 30 days or fewer, the amount is retained.
When to book
For a wedding, ideally book two to three months ahead: we hold few pieces per size and in season (April to October) they sell out. The fitting must be at least 72 hours before the event. If you live outside Mallorca, send us your measurements, we prepare the suit and fit it when you arrive.
Hire or bespoke?
Hire is the practical choice for a single day, especially for best men, fathers and guests. If you are the groom and want a tuxedo that is yours for good, cut to your body in the cloth you choose, we make it to measure from €2,200 in four to six weeks. It is all explained on our groom suits page.
How to book
- Send us your booking and we send you a payment link.
- Come to the atelier for your fitting, at least 72 hours before.
- Collect the suit ready to wear and leave the deposit.
- Return it within 7 days and we refund your deposit.
