Questions
About cloth.
What does Super 110's, Super 130's or Super 150's mean?
It is the fineness of the wool fibre: the higher the number, the finer it is. A Super 150's is softer and lighter, but also more delicate. For everyday wear we recommend Super 110's to 130's; for special occasions, 150's and above.
Which cloth is best for summer in Mallorca?
One under 250 grams that breathes: mohair, wool-silk-linen blends or high-twist cool wool. Pure linen is very cool but creases a lot; blended with wool and silk it holds its shape better.
Loro Piana or Zegna?
Both are Italian and first-rate. Loro Piana stands out for the fibre and its soft hand; Zegna for a crisper finish and very hard-wearing wools. At the atelier you compare them in your hand.
Does the price of the suit depend on the cloth?
Yes. Our making prices start at €2,000 for a suit and €2,200 for a tuxedo; the final price depends on the cloth you choose. We give you the exact figure at the atelier, with the cloth book in front of you.
Can I see the cloth books with no obligation?
Yes. Visit the atelier at Calle Bonaire 20 and we go through them together. Best with an appointment, so we have the right books ready for what you are looking for.
